Some common faults about the charcoal ball making machine

April 19,2022

The charcoal ball press machine occupies a dominant position in the production line. Many users have many misunderstandings when using and maintaining the machine. The improper operation will cause the production efficiency of the ball press to decrease.
Therefore, it is very useful and necessary to understand the common faults of some common ball press equipment in the working process and some effective solutions.

The charcoal balls are not formed well

During the use of the charcoal ball making machine, the problem of unformed pulverized coal sometimes occurs. There are many reasons for this problem.

  • Insufficient pulverized coal supply: Insufficient pulverized coal supply will make the coal ball making machine have no material to press, so add enough pulverized coal to the briquette machine;
  • The quenching hardness of the roll skin is not high: this situation will reduce the forming pressure of the briquetting machine, and it is necessary to perform surface quenching heat treatment on the roll skin or replace the roll skin;
  • Deformation of the ball socket: The deformed ball socket will make the shape of the material uneven, and it should be repaired or replaced in time.

Roller dislocation

The dislocation of the ball socket of the roller skin of the ball press may be caused by the loosening of the adjusting sleeve bolts or the looseness between the roller skin and the shaft. After adjusting the socket of the ball press machine, tighten the bolts, or replace the roller skin bearings, which can effectively solve the dislocation fault.

The briquettes do not demould

The excessive moisture content of pulverized coal and the rough surface of the new ball socket of the mold may cause the phenomenon that the ball does not fall off during briquetting. At this time, it is necessary to reduce the excessive moisture in the pulverized coal; pressure. Grind the mold to ensure the smooth surface of the roller ball socket.
