Coal briquette stick making machine exported to Saudi Arabia
In September 2025, we successfully delivered a WD‑CB180 Coal Briquette Stick Making Machine to Saudi Arabia. The customer used this machine to establish a medium-scale coal and charcoal powder briquette production line, primarily for producing high-density BBQ charcoal sticks and industrial fuel sticks.
Customer background
In Saudi Arabia, the rapid growth of the catering, BBQ, and charcoal export industries led a local customer group to seek a high-efficiency, automated coal and charcoal powder stick production line. After evaluating multiple suppliers, they chose to cooperate with us for our proven track record and reliable technology.

Reasons for choosing the coal briquette stick making machine
- Matching Production Capacity: The customer aimed for a production capacity of approximately 1 ton per hour. The WD‑CB180 has an output of 1000 kg/h, perfectly meeting their requirements.
- Power and Structural Advantages: The WD‑CB180 features 22 kW power, dimensions of 2250×1400×600 mm, and a total weight of 1300 kg, making it easy to install, transport, and maintain locally.
- Proven Technology and Brand Trust: Our coal briquette stick making machines have been successfully exported multiple times, with tested screw extrusion, mold selection, and pressing mechanisms.
- Flexible Raw Material Compatibility: The machine can process coal powder, charcoal powder, and other biomass powders, allowing the customer to adapt to local resources efficiently.
Project implementation

- Our technical team worked closely with the customer to determine raw material formulas, particle size, moisture content, and binder proportions.
- Locally, the customer prepared coal powder (≤3 mm), added 5–10% binder, and controlled moisture at 10–15%, followed by trial runs.
- The WD‑CB180 was shipped from our factory in China, installed at the customer’s facility, and we provided remote/onsite training to ensure smooth operation.
- The machine is used to produce briquette sticks with a diameter of 10–12 cm, adjustable with different molds.
Operational results
- The produced briquette sticks have high density, stable combustion, and low ash content, meeting the quality requirements for BBQ charcoal in Saudi Arabia.
- Customer Feedback: The machine starts quickly, has a short adjustment period, and reached stable operation within one week, achieving the expected output.
- Stable operation, reasonable energy consumption, and easy maintenance reduce downtime and repair costs.
- The machine has laid a solid foundation for the customer to establish an export-oriented BBQ charcoal production line, improving product market competitiveness.
